His dissertation focuses on the health care issues of U.S. retirees in Mexico through comparing retirees from different nations, and to suggest policy implications to reduce the current barriers U.S. retirees face in Mexico.  He collected data through three techniques: mail survey, focus groups, and interview surveys. He used SPSS for processing the structured questions on the questionnaire, and conducting bivariate and multivariate analyses to discover and substantiate patterns and relationships.
