Registrant Name Change

Registrant change is the process to change ownership of your domain to another new individual or entity. If you registered your domain name through GlobalFront and your domain is in good payment standing, then you can request us to update Registrant records for your domain. Please note that registrant name change cannot be processed within 60 days following expiration and reactivation of a domain, or within 60 days following a previous change in registrant name for the domain. Please use one of the following methods to request registrant name change for your domain:

(a) If your domain was registered through GlobalFront on or AFTER October 01, 2001, then please use the Registrant Name Update form to request registrant name change for your domain. This request will be processed within 2 to 24 hours. GlobalFront provides this service for FREE.

(b) If your domain was registered through GlobalFront BEFORE October 01, 2001, then please use the old process to request registrant name change for your domain. Please note that it may take up to 3 weeks for us to process registrant name change for your domain, as we would need to process registrar transfer before we can process registrant name change request. Also, there is a one-time $19.95 fee to process such change.
